Watermelon Chia Fresca

A balanced drink to stay cool and refreshed, with the added powerhouse of chia seeds

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 Lime

  • 1 cup ripe watermelon, chopped

  • 1 cup cold water

  • 2 tsp honey or choice of sweetener

  • 3-4 Mint Leaves

  • 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds

  • Ice

Recipe:

  • To a blender, add the juice of 1 lime, water, watermelon, ½ tbsp honey, and mint. Blend until smooth. Taste and add more honey if needed.

  • add chia seeds to a large glass. Strain watermelon mixture into the glass. Let sit for 5 minutes to let chia seeds expand.

  • Add Ice and enjoy!
